Ancient Vault is an Special game element in Royal Match.
Magic Cubes can be hit by making matches next to them or hitting them with a power-up. The total number of Magic Cubes that have to be hit to unlock the second stage of the Ancient Vault is indicated on the Ancient Vault itself. Once the number of Magic Cubes indicated in the Ancient Vault is hit, the Ancient Vault will open up, and once it is matched next to or hit with a power-up five times, Ancient Vault will be destroyed and Statue target will be collected. When every Ancient Vault is opened, the Magic Cubes will be destroyed.
