Mushroom is a lower layer game element in Royal Match.
Making matches next to or activating a power-up over the Mushrooms will cause them to disappear. When after a move, non of the Mushrooms have been destroyed, one of them will reappear on one of the Ground tiles. When a Mushroom disappears the Ground layer will be revealed. To destroy Ground, either a match has to be made over it or a power-up has to hit it.
